FAQ

It is important to us that you have a great experience using our service. To help make it easier to understand our Pet Clinic screening process and how our service works, we've compiled this list of FAQs expressly for consumers.

  1. What is PetClinic.org?

Pet Clinic is a professional trade organization that provides support and educational services for its members and the public.

  2. How does a veterinarian qualify to be a Pet Clinic member?

We accept veterinarian clinics onto our service only after they complete detailed applications and pass our rigorous screening process.

  3. What is the Pet Clinic screening process?

Pet Clinic provides the highest level of professional screening in the pet industry.  Our Quality Assurance department is dedicated to the initial screening and continued monitoring of member veterinarians, which includes, but is not limited to:

    • Verifying that member Veterinary Licenses are current and in good standing
    • Requiring certification for any claimed specialty or service
    • Maintaining detailed dentist information, including school attended, services offered, office hours and more
    • Validating claims of practice features such as the ability to treat pets or state-of the-art equipment
    • Surveying patients on an ongoing basis to assure the highest level of satisfaction and care

All of this is to uphold our promise to the public that we take every smile personally.

  4. Do veterinarians pay to be a part of Pet Clinic?

Yes. Once a veterinarian passes our strict screening requirements, there is a monthly fee to maintain membership with our service.

  5. What does it mean for the veterinarian’s license to be “in good standing”?

It means that the veterinarian's license is valid and that the veterinarian is not currently subject to disciplinary action.

  6. How can I get more vet clinic information?

We provide detailed veterinarian information about our members in step two of the search process. Once you start the search process, you can select the veterinarian you're interested in and click on "continue" to learn about that veterinarian's office hours, clinic services, qualifications and office amenities. For more vet information, just provide us with your first name and phone number and one of our friendly operators will contact you!

  7. Can you help me find a veterinarian who offers payment plans?

We can help you find a vet clinic in your area who accepts cash and/or credit card payments, as well as one who works with patient financing companies such as CareCredit®. Although many of our member veterinarians offer payment plans, we recommend calling your new vet office to verify all payment options.

  8. Do I have to make an appointment?

We understand that you may be a little apprehensive about making an appointment, but your pet’s health is important, and the best person to talk to about your pet’s health is a veterinarian.

  9. What makes your service different from the Yellow Pages?

Not every veterinarian can become a member of NAPP. Unlike the yellow pages, we screen and continually monitor our member clinics to ensure our promise to you. We also work to find you a dentist who matches your specific needs -- whether you have a pet problem or need Saturday appointments.

  10. How do I submit feedback about your service?

Your feedback helps us provide the kind of service consumers expect and deserve. Please share your comments with us -- we read every piece of feedback and welcome your suggestions!

Please enter your name, email and phone number, so our friendly operators will call you right away.
